How Will the Therapeutic Work Happen in Practice?

How Often Will We Meet?

At the beginning of our therapeutic work I recommend meeting weekly, so that the therapeutic relationship can develop. This relationship will then enable us to begin working effectively. The issue with long intervals between sessions is that our time together might be used to share news, rather than work effectively on therapy.

You may be pleasantly surprised to hear that many clients get what they need in just 6 sessions. Short term therapy can be very effective for some clients.

How and When Will We Meet & Review Our Work?

We will review our work often, to gauge if we are coming to an end or if you wish to continue. This way you can assess your goals and review your progress as we proceed.

I now work exclusively on-line, using video calls, (usually Zoom). I am happy to work using voice calls if you prefer. This means I am able to work with you regardless of where you are in the world.

I work weekdays and each session is 50 minutes.
